Devatta, I have known for many years and have seen her go through amazing transformations on her journey. I admire her strength and energy that she passes on to many of her global friends with her astrology.
I don't know that it was a surprise to most that Olivia Putnam, Andree’s daughter, has
been groomed from a young age to take on her mother’s legacy.
The Paris based designer gave MODWOMEN some insight of her path following her
mother’s footsteps, while embracing her signature being.
ANDREE PUTNAM
Renowned icon of Interior Design, Andree Putnam brought her conceptual mind into the public’s eye, and transformed lifeless spaces into innovative masterpieces. Andree comes from an artist’s background , the daughter of a concert pianist, she was imbedded with art, music and culture from an early age. Andree attended France’s most prominent music conservatory, and became a well-trained musician. Her love of the arts and design led her to become the world’s most influential designer, decorating the interiors of such notables as YSL, Karl Lagerfeld, as well as France’s former minister of culture, and the Bordeux museum of contemporary art. Her firm, Agence Andree Putnam, established in 1997, showcases everything from furniture, to flatware to sheets and even fragrance.
I have been following alot of rawists lately like Demi Moore, Donna Karan, Paul Macartney and have come across the very renowned name of Jill Littlejohn.
She has worked as a personal chef for Donna Karan for the past 3 years, and for other celebrities such as Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Drew Barrymore, and Steven Seagal.
During this period my philosophy of food began to change, gone are the more traditional thoughts and relationships with food to be replaced with a more nuturing and healing relationship with what one puts into their bodies.
She believes food acts more like medicine and believes in using fresh and organic produce and most of the food she prepares living food.
She has began creating simple 5 day nutritional cleanses for the average person who has never fasted before. These are proving very successful and she is documenting the results, for future use.
......I am seeing such a 360 degree cycle in our movement....going back to some of our parents lifestyle habits but creating a modern flavour.....

Born in England, Amazingly Talented Stylist Tabitha Simmons is a
contributing editor for Vogue™ magazine and a regular contributor to
Dazed and Confused and Another Magazine. Among some her iconic clients, she did advertising campaigns for
Alexander McQueen. Rag & Bone, Marchesa, and Alberta Ferretti and
is best known for Dolce & Gabbana's stunning A/W 09 campaign. Her
accessories line focuses on beautifully made shoes and boots with
influence from the Forties. She currently lives and works in New York.
